Deborah is a mentor, entrepreneur and an idol for young women. She is one of the founders of @enjoilux and The Children’s Place and Beyond in Long Island, New York. She works very hard to help young people have an opportunity to be great. She has done multiple women empowerment events in various cities including Brooklyn and Atlanta. Deborah has helped so many women embrace their natural beauty with her “Short Hair Don’t Care” event. This Wednesday we get to hear from Deborah herself about her career and future goals. I asked Deborah a couple of questions about herself and why she does what she does today. Check out the interview below!
Q: Why do you want to empower the women around you?
– There are people who are counting on me to deliver and I believe that everyone should do their part to make this world a better place. Every day I wake up I ask God to give me wisdom because I want to the light of the world.
Q: What is one of your goals that you haven’t completed yet?
– My goal is to finish my Degree in Early Childhood and to open a continued education program for young adults.”
Q: What is a dream or accomplishment that you wish to complete in the future?
– Fashion beauty and giving back.
Q: What is your current occupation?
– I am a daycare provider and a family care provider for Mental Health Residents, I am also the co-founder of an event company that supports women in business by providing resources to help them grow their brands.
